This part maintains the electrical connection between the steering column and the steering wheel, enabling horn operation, airbag deployment, and steering wheel-mounted controls. A faulty clock spring will typically trigger airbag or SRS warning lights, disable horn function, and interrupt cruise control or audio controls.
